FOUNDATION PROGRAMMES

The foundation program is designed for students whose academic standards are inadequate to be accepted by the program of Skyline University College. The Foundation Program will prepare the students, who are unsuccessful in the Skyline University College placement test to acquire the required level of proficiency in English and Numerical skills. The foundation program comprises the following courses:

Students scoring between 20 and 39 marks in the English placement test will have to undergo and pass a two-semester Foundation Program. Hence, the students who fall under this category require to successfully completing both basic and advanced level courses.

Students scoring between 40 and 69 marks in the English placement test will have to undergo and pass a one-semester Foundation Program. Hence, the students, who fall under this category, require to complete only the Advanced level courses.

In either case, the students should obtain an overall CGPA of 2.0 in foundation courses before full admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program. This requirement applies to students who have to take all foundation courses and to those students who have to take all foundation courses except Numeric. Additionally, students are required to obtain the minimum passing grade of ā€˜C’ (GPA of 2.0) each in English as a Foreign Language and in Communication and Learning Skills.
