GOALS
- To provide available and friendly support the
process of imparting knowledge
- The department strives to manage the conduct
of exam in an efficient and professional manner, this includes coordinating with
faculty members for the production of high quality examination material providing
proper infrastructure and settings for conducting examination among fear, practices
and finally timely and error free publication of results.
- The department at the same time aim at in the
overall operational and logistics support and co-ordination of the academic process
and dealing with the public including the students and the parents
- The department would also be focusing on controlling
the safety and security infrastructure of the institution while upholding the high
standards of the institution policy of student conduct and implementing the policy
of the institution.
- The department shall also be responsible for
coordinating the activities of the student, faculty and staff members on the one
hand and of various department of the university on the other hand.
OBJECTIVES
- Maintaining Time frame
in issuing documents to the students as mentioned in the Student Hand book. Guide
the students in appropriate manner for a satisfactory academic progression. Inform
students to register for repeating courses.
- Frequent follow-up
with academic advisors regarding the performance of their advisees and discuss about
any decision to be taken which may benefit the student. Have frequent meeting with
other departments to solve the issues of students if any.
- To counsel the students
and shift their timings to evening if the no. of students are few in the morning.
To register repeating courses students / allot courses to transfer of credit students
where the no. of students are less in particular courses.
- Track the attendance
on a weekly basis and co-ordinate with the advisors for necessary follow-up to be
eligible for the students to attend the final examination.
- To listen to the students
non academic problems and advise / suggest for appropriate solution or guide them
to the concerned person / Dept.
- To have random check
in Campus 5k and manually tally the grades awarded to students in a particular semester.
