PLACEMENT CELL

Placement Cell comprises of Marketing & Registration personnel and is assisted by Student Services Department. The cell is primarily responsible for proper placement of our students upon completion of the required training. The Placement Cell co-ordinates with organizations/industries in providing graduating students the opportunity of internship and subsequent placement in various industries in line with their majors.

The internship/placement activities generally focuses on the businesses like Multinational Companies, Trading Establishments, Limited Liabilities Company, Manufacturing Companies, Airlines, Travel Agencies, Airports, Banks, IT companies, Financial establishments and other business sectors. These experiences require the specific number of hours at work as well as regular contact with the faculty coordinator and other students participating in the program. The faculty coordinator supervises and evaluates the student’s internship experience. Students are also expected to evaluate their own experiences through meeting with professor and other interning students and through preparation of course assignments. Such internships may subsequently lead to employments too. The Placement Cell is assisted by the concerned Program Coordinators in the following areas:

  • Identification of the students based on their academic performance and abilities suitable for internship & placement.
  • Identification of the right organizations for internship / placement.
  • Identification of the right functional area of the organization based on the students’ specialization.
