1. I have got good grades in my High School (12th Grade), do I need to take your placement test?

Yes.

2. What are the components of your placement test?

English and Mathematics

3. What is the passing mark of your placement test?

70% in both English & Mathematics

4. If I fail in the placement test both in English and in Mathematics, can I still study in Skyline University College?

Yes, you can join our Foundation program.

5. If I fail in the placement test only in English and passed in Mathematics, what do I study in Skyline University College?

You still can join our Foundation program to improve your English proficiency.

6. If I fail in the placement test only in Mathematics and passed in English, what do I study in Skyline University College?

You are required take a Mathematics preparatory course in Skyline while you are progressing (simultaneously) in your degree program, however, you will not be allowed to enroll into any courses that might require mathematics skills as pre-requisite.

7. What is the System of Academic Calendar?

Semester System:
Fall semester (September – January), Spring semester (January – May) and Summer semester (May – July/August)

8. What are the programs offered at Skyline University College?

Bachelor of Business Administration

9. Is there any major emphasis in your program?

Yes. Four majors are offered namely
1) Travel & Tourism Management
2) International Business
3) Marketing
4) Information Systems

10. What is the total number of credit hours I need to complete for graduation?

123 Credit hours

11. What is the breakdown of your curriculum?

General Education – 33 Credit hours
Core Business – 57 Credit hours
Major area – 33 Credit hours

12. What is the duration of the program study?

Normally, it is Four years.

13. Is it possible to accelerate my studies?

Yes, you may complete in 3 years provided you join summer semester and having better performance record in first two semesters.

14. Is your program accredited?

Yes, it is approved and accredited by the Ministry of Education (Higher Education) and Scientific Research, Abu Dhabi, UAE

15. Will my degree be accepted in other countries?

Of course, it is accepted everywhere, since the Degree will be attested by the Ministry of Education (Higher Education) and Scientific Research.

16. Do you have good faculty resources?

Yes. Our faculty team comprises different nationalities with all members holding terminal / Ph. D qualification.

17. Does your program have any industry focus and linkage?

Our programs are regularly updated in accordance with the current industry trends and market environments locally, regionally and internationally.

18. Do you have any opportunity for internship?

Yes. It is a mandatory requirement for every student to go for internship in a reputed company for 140 hours. This is built in the curriculum.

19. Do you help finding placement after graduation?

Yes. Our Placement cell assists all the students to find suitable employment.

20. Do you have a good library?

Yes. We have a good library with more than 15,000 books supported by several multimedia learning resources and Virtual library resources.
